BAA NATIONAL EXCO SETS DATE FOR 2024 NATIONAL CONVENTION, CONSTITUTES STANDING COMMITTEES.

Friday, 11th April, 2024 at Bristow Secondary School, Gboko, it was a moment of joy, reinvigoration and thanksgiving to God for the EXCO as the BAA National President, Dr. Msugh Gbila presided over the EXCO meeting since his health challenge.

The meeting which also had in attendance the Immediate Past President (IPP)/Ex Official, Manz Denga deliberated on key issues which include:

1. 2024 BAA NATIONAL CONVENTION: The National Convention has been slated for Thursday, 4th to Sunday, 7th July, 2024 at Bristow Secondary School, Gboko.

a. CONVENTION PLANNING COMMITTEE: The President and Exco appointed the National Vice President, Engr. Akaade Emmanuel to serve as Chairman with Gboko Branch Chairman, Mr. Kelvin Terfa Kwagh as Co-Chairman. Other Branch Chairmen to also serve in the Committee.

1. BAA BUILDING PROJECT(Multipurpose Hall): Central Planning Committee to physically meet with National EXCO on 27th April, 2024 by 10am at Bristow Secondary School, Gboko while the EXCO and CPC meet with Branch Chairmen/Set Coordinators same day/venue by 1pm.

2. STANDING COMMITTEES: The BAA National President, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 8 (1)(i) of the BAA Constitution 2022 (as amended), has appointed the following to serve in the underlisted standing committees;

a. ARBITRATION AND DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE;

i. Barr. Ruth Y. Aorga -Legal Adviser/Chairman
ii. Elder Ngusha Agôm-Tor
iii. Barr. Kpaadoo Chia
iv. Mr. Emmanuel Aza
v. Rev. Isaac Koko

b. WELFARE COMMITTEE;

i. Nguuma Dera -Chairman/National Director of Socials
ii. Branch Social Secretaries i.e Abuja/Lagos/Gboko/Jos/Makurdi/PHC/Vandeikya/Mkar/Yola/Katsina Ala

All BAA members are encouraged to support, plan and attend the National Convention and as well, support the other good intentions of the association.
